Photoespaña arrives, and like every year, some of the best photographers in the world pass through our country. It’s a magnificent opportunity to get to know these creators who live and work thousands of kilometers away from us, showing us, through their eyes, what other worlds are like and how they perceive and view them. Today, we welcome the Mexican artist Maya Goded, who presents a selection of images that take us into her long and ongoing exploration of the world of women.

We continue our conversation with Mexican artist Maya Goded, discussing her career, her long-standing and deep interest in women, and the photography of the past and present. Her work can still be seen at the Memoria Gallery in Madrid, as part of the PhotoEspaña festival. This is a wonderful opportunity to get closer to the work of an artist who has captured the Mexico that lives on the margins, and whom she portrays with humanity and joy.
